Entertainment:

  • Free documentaries. Hulu.com recently added a new documentaries section where you can view quality documentaries like “Super Size Me” and “Confessions of a Superhero”. I’m particularly enjoying “Off the charts: The song-poem story”, from PBS’ Independent Lens program. It details the wacky cast of characters who put a song-poem together, from the Taye Zonday-esque poem writers to the unknown, but talented musicians who write, record and master a song in 45 minutes.
  • $1 for Fleet Foxes EP. Download the Sun Giant EP from Fleet Foxes for 99 cents from the Amazon.com music store. All you need to do is download Amazon.com’s MP3 downloader, which is also free. Much like the iTunes store, Amazon.com offers some songs for free in order to entice you to buy the entire album. An added bonus is that the songs are automatically added to your iTunes music library! Check it out here. (UPDATE: While you’re there, pick up Bon Iver’s “Skinny Love” for free too!)

Odds and Ends:

  • Free Cinnabites. To celebrate Tax Day on April 15 all Cinnabon locations will be giving away a free order of Cinnabites to each customer. (via DealNews)
  • Foot shavings for $3. And in the spirit of Easter, I bring you an egg … that shaves … your feet! DealExtreme.com offers the Ped Egg in White for $3.23 with free shipping.  I remember seeing one of these for about $10 at my local drugstore. In case you haven’t seen the infomercial for this baby yet, here it is courtesy of YouTube and the hand and foot model who was featured in it (via DealNews)
